Privacy notice

This notice is written in plain words. It follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its 2025 Rules. Pi7 is the data fiduciary for Pi7+ accounts.

What we collect

Only what the account and the payments need.

• Your Google account email and Google account id, to log you in and to reach you about your account.
• Your name, for your account page and your GST invoices.
• Your plan and payment records from Razorpay: plan, amount, dates and payment id. Never your card or bank details.
• The price region of your plan (rupees, or US dollars for the countries that pay in dollars). It is worked out from your internet address when you pay, so your plan keeps that price while it renews. We keep only the region, not the address, for this.
• A record of your consent and a log of account actions (login, payment, cancel, delete) with the date, for security and to answer your requests.
• A short code for each device you log in on, so Pi7+ works there and we can keep it to 3 devices.

What we never collect

Pi7 does not collect the photos or PDFs you use on the Pi7 tools. Most of those tools run in your browser, and the few that use a server explain their own handling on their page. The one exception is what you save to Pi7 Drive yourself (next section). There are no ads and no third-party trackers on pro.pi7.org. We never sell your data.

Pi7 Drive

Pi7 Drive is a place in your account for a few files you want ready in every Pi7 tool: your signature, a passport photo, a document. Nothing lands there on its own: a file is kept only when you add it on the Pi7 Drive page, and picking one in a tool is your choice each time.

The files are kept on Pi7's own file server, in a folder that belongs to your account, under ids rather than names. We never open, scan, index or share them, and no one else can reach them: a file leaves the server only through a link made for you that stops working after 15 minutes. For images we make a small preview for your own list; that is all we do with the contents.

• What is kept: the file as you saved it, the name you gave it, its size, type and dates.
• How much: a free account keeps a few small files, Pi7+ many more and larger. The current limits (how many files, how big each one, how much space in all) are shown on the Plans page and on Pi7 Drive.
• How long: until you delete it. You can delete any file at any time from Pi7 Drive, and deleting your account deletes them all at once.
• When Pi7+ ends: you keep the free allowance. If you hold more than that, the files stay 90 more days for you to download or delete; then we remove the extra ones, keeping the ones you used most recently.

Why we use it

To log you in, turn Pi7+ on for image.pi7.org and pdf.pi7.org on your devices, bill you, send GST invoices, send payment and security notices, and answer support requests, and show you the Pi7+ price for your country.

How Pi7+ reaches the free sites

When you log in, we set a signed cookie on pi7.org that says your account has Pi7+, or that your Pi7+ has ended. image.pi7.org and pdf.pi7.org read it to skip ads and waits, or to offer you Pi7+ again. It holds an account id and your Pi7+ status, nothing else.

How long we keep it

While you use the account. A free account unused for 12 months gets a notice, and 48 hours later it is deleted. Paid accounts are not deleted for being unused while Pi7+ is on.

Files in Pi7 Drive stay until you delete them (see the Pi7 Drive section for what happens when Pi7+ ends). They go with the account when it is deleted.

Invoices and payment records stay as long as tax law requires. They hold no email.

Who else sees it

Our processors, only to run the service: Razorpay for payments, Google for Google sign-in, and the hosting provider. Each one may use the data only for Pi7.

Your country is found on our own server from a free list of internet addresses by DB-IP (db-ip.com). Your address is not sent to DB-IP or anyone else for this.

Your rights

• See and download everything: My account, Download my data.
• Delete any saved file at once: Pi7 Drive, Delete.
• Correct your name: write to support.
• Delete everything: My account, Delete my account. It finishes within 7 days and stops Pi7+ payments.
• Withdraw consent: the same button. Withdrawal is as easy as giving it.
• Complain: write to our support contact first. If we do not fix it, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Pi7+ accounts are for people 18 and older. A parent or guardian can buy Pi7+ for a family device with their own account.

Security

Encryption in transit, emails masked in our logs, an audit log on every account action, and nightly database backups. Files in Pi7 Drive sit on Pi7's own file server under ids, reachable only through links that expire in 15 minutes, and every save, download and delete is logged. If a breach ever affects you, we will tell you without delay and report it to the Board as the law requires.

Changes

When this notice changes, we publish the new text here with a new version and date at the top; nothing else is asked of you. Only if a change meant using your data for a new purpose would we ask you to agree again before it applies.
